Alike Cummings, daughter of Nestor and Denise Cummings, and granddaughter of Prince
and Bessie Cummings and Clifford and Lucille Desuze, has earned her Master's Of Math Education Degree from Saint John's University,
Queens, New York. Alike is a second year Teaching Fellow, with the New York City Board of Education, teaching at a middle
school for gifted students.

Samantha Thomas, daughter of Nella and Liabert Thomas (formerly of New
York now from Florida), and granddaughter of Tantie Mamma (Jerome)of Trinidad and Tobago, received her Masters
Degree from American University, in Wash, D. C. She is on a fellowship studying law at the
City University of New York (CUNY), Tricia is a CPA, and Lakeisha
just completed her Bachellor's degree in Social Work at Columbia Union College, in Maryland. Lakeisha
will attend Howard University for her master's in Fall 2007.

Grandson of the late Louisa "Bessie" Cummings (and son of John "Marshall" Cummings of Miami, Florida,
and Oris Nyack, of Brooklyn, New York,) Sargent Delwyn Marshall Cummings, of the U.S. 101st Airborne Division's paratroopers
, was married in Houston, Texas. Having served two tours in Iraq, he returned there on October 21, 2006, for his third tour.
Delwyn is expected to complete his service with the U.S. Army by September, 2007, when he will return to the United States
to join his wife, Trisha Davis (who hails from Seattle, Washington), and celebrate the event and his return with our
family.

The former Shanna Cox, daughter of Cyprian and Yvette (Jerome) Cox, of Orlando, Florida, and
granddaughter of Henry "Shem" and the late Leticia "Dearest" Jerome, of Brooklyn, New York (originally from Brunswick,
Carriacou), was married on October 28, 2006, at the Atlanta Sheraton, in Georgia.

school, and the latter from middle school. Ralph has been admitted to the Honors Science/Math Program
at Midwood High School, in Brooklyn, N.Y., and he plays football and runs track for the school.

Nikki Noel, daughter of Rodney and Norma Noel, of Birmingham, Alabama,
granddaughter of the late Dearest and Henry Jerome,has graduated from Spellman College, in Atlanta,
Georgia. She has accepted employment with the U.S. government working for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration
(NASA) in Cape Canaveral, Florida

Brooklyn-born National Merit Scholar, Kimberly Miller, of Columbus, Georgia,

great granddaughter of Bessie Cummings has been accepted into the pre-medicine program at Howard University,
in Washington,D.C.
Kimberly follows in the footsteps of her parents who both earned degrees in the medical field at

Canada) and grandson of Josephine "Cousin MacLean" (Cummings) Noel [the third oldest member of the Jerome-Cummings family],

Bernadette Stanis (short for Stanislaus) received an award for
integrity and her positive image as a major television actress. The star was raised in Brooklyn,
New York, and she is the niece of former Grenada Benevolent Association president and former United Nations ambassador for
Grenada, Dr. Lemuel Stanislaus, a dentist, of Rutland Road, in Flatbush. Bernadette is shown in Miami, Florida, with
Rob (of the hit T.V. show: "What's Happening?"), Miami-Dade Commissioner Dennis Moss, and Louisa "Bessie" Cummings who
surprised the actress by letting her know that she is our cousin.

Taiwo Cummings, of Plantation, Florida, son of Zeph Cummings, and grandson
of Bessie Cummings, is one of the main video producers for the Miami Heat basketball Team. He once
performed the same duties for the Florida baseball Marlins and Channel 7 News in Miami. Here he is shown with the National
Basketball Association's World Championship trophy that the Miami Heat basketball team won in June, 2006.
